As the key equipment of nuclear power plant, the safe and stable operation of main pump is fairly important. Because of the complex structure of nuclear power main pump, the problem of abnormal vibration fluctuation and even vibration alarm with unknown reasons often occurs in operation, which bring risks to the safe and stable operation of nuclear power plant. Based on the analysis of the historical vibration data and process parameters of the nuclear power main pump, this paper proposed a method based on the correlation coefficient to locate and analyze the causes of abnormal vibration of the nuclear power main pump. Through thousands of abnormal vibration data analysis, the abnormal vibration fluctuation of nuclear power main pump is closely related to the shaft seal system and the flow and pressure of the main pump.
