In order to accurately describe the rubbing process between the rotating blade and rigid casing with coating, a finite element model of rotating blade using shell theory is established and a rubbing model is proposed considering the coating wear effect. Based the proposed models, the effects of rotating speed, blade length, coefficient of friction, Archard coefficient, coating material on blade vibration and coating wear are analyzed. The results show that the increase of blade length, Archard coefficient, Young's modulus and particle sizes of coating materials can lead to larger wear, however, the wear level reduces with the increase of the friction of friction, hardness, plastic modulus and yield strength of coating material.
