This paper focuses on the structural design and acoustic performance characterization of porous materials, and realizes Integration implementation of parametric design of porous materials and acoustic performance analysis through 3D printing technology and numerical simulation. Porous materials have great potential in improving the acoustical properties of building structures and industrial products, but it is hard to carry on the structural design and parametric representation. At present, the direct measurement method is widely used to characterize the acoustic parameters of porous materials (flow resistivity, porosity, viscosity characteristic length, thermal characteristic length, tortuosity), which requires precision instruments such as flow resistance meter and ultrasonic tortuosity test analyzer, high quality of sample materials and operators' skills. The traditional structural design of porous materials is usually difficult to accurately adjust the porosity and permeability. The corresponding modeling work is also complicated, time-consuming and inefficient. Moreover, it is difficult to flexibly change the configuration and realize diversified design according to the requirements. Through 3D printing technology and Comsol numerical simulation, these problems can be solved and the functional structural design can be realized. In this paper, the parametric model of porous materials was generated by Matlab. Through genetic algorithm, the acoustic performance parameters of porous materials tested by impedance tube are fitted with the parameter results of theoretical analysis of JCA model to determine its acoustic characteristic parameters. Finally, personalized customization of 3D structure of porous materials matching with acoustic performance parameters is realized to satisfy the demand of experimental testing and industrial product design.
